Or possibly - residence for lease?? Don't think I've ever posted a cocoon before - not sure I've spotted one! That was the only thing hanging from the tree.
@dianen@hubmom@tonydebont@featherstone26@rontu After some hunting, my best guess is this was the home of a moth - possibly a silkworm moth (though I'm not good at identifying mulberry trees without their leaves) or possibly a luna moth. Not uncommon to find them in the winter they say once the leaves are gone. Quite small.
