What a pretty combination the pink flowering almond makes with her lovely forsythia bush. Both were look at peak before the rain came. We're promised another week of rain. UGH!

I love forsythia. It was always the first to bloom when we lived in Illinois. But, in North Carolina, it's just now starting to bloom. We've had flowers for a month now.
