The biggest problem with old magnolia trees is that their blooms all start at about 12 feet off the ground! Did like the early sun hitting the bloom, but would have liked to see an open one. There were some up higher.
Yes, I have the same problem. There were some trees with low branches but they were cut down over the winter. So, Now, I'm trying to get magnolia flowers 20 feet off the ground.
