Today I had to go “downtown” to renew my passport and my identity card. (Which expire both in May and there is nothing worse than not be always and every time ready for a trip abroad). I had to smile a little when I took a picture of my town and compare it, with the amazing skylines of Seattle, Chicago, Sydney, etc. you share with us. In comparison to many of you, I really am a country bumpkin. ;-) Still it is very nice here in Central Switzerland.
Your commentary made me smile. Your town is lovely! True, there are no soaring skyscrapers, but I like the spires, waterfront, and variety of roof lines.
