2015-06-18 celosia

Celosias are a genus of flowering plants in the plant family Amaranthaceae which have furry looking flowers. The familial name Amaranthaceae comes from the Greek amarantos, which means "unfading." These flowers are often used as ornamental flowers in bouquets. For me it looks like a flower-brain.
you have made this look otherworldly

I'm amazed, Mona! I absolutely thought this was photographed in a salt-water tank at an aquarium! Isn't Nature spell-binding?!

I too thought it was an underwater coral. Very nice flower and love the colour of it too. :)
