Thanks for all the encouragements and comments, concerning yesterdays low in respect of "flashofred" February. Today was better. It is easier if you leave the job before sunset and have a few minutes for yourself. It was cold and gray today, but just before sunset the sky tore open at the right place for a short period of time. So today, some outdoor light and shadow.
This gleams and glows and is a fabulous picture in all ways, fav! I don't do the flash of red February thing, as I could never commit to a while month of b&w.
This is a really lovely shot - the lighting really gives it a great mood. Can't imagine how I could do this seriously if I weren't retired now! I have great admiration for all of you who manage it.
Fav for a fantastic shot - love the tree reflections which I only saw rather last minute. I prefer this to the colour version and feel inspired to seek a b&w sunset myself!
