Mixing white pigments (Lithopone Silver Seal) to make a base for silverpoint drawings. Doing that for my dad who is the artist. Quite interesting technique, based on a chemical reaction (oxidation) between the metal (silver, in this case) and a nonmetal compound, especially oxygen and the barium sulfate and zinc sulfide in the colour pigment.
