Here in Switzerland, we put away the Christmas decoration on Januar 6th, Epiphany. Most of it was done then, but there are some little things that have to find a way in the boxes. My little helper thought, that it might be a good idea to just get rid of some of the single christmas balls, that don't match, with the rest. But I wouldn't let him.
I’d ask the family. Turns out my husband and his five siblings all have a favorite hand painted glass ball that reminded them of Christmas in their childhood. The matched sets weren’t loved nearly as much as the strays.
