It was a real stinker of a day the other day; and a storm was brewing for us out west. So, I took the ladder out of Stevie's cage and put her bath in (an old Chinese takeaway container) and she jumped in quickly and cooled off. Don't her feet look huge?

Stevie is what breeders call a Sky Blue Budgie. This breed started out in Belgium and came to Australia in the early 1900's. Stevie is very loyal and dedicated to me; and has been for the last few years. She just loves taking a bath on a really hot day. But this time around, she took a very quick dip and jumped out. So, this photo was taken very quickly.
