Yesterday, I was out and about in West End on my monthly Sunday meet-up with like-minded people. We get together and talk about dreams, tarot and other such things; normally at New Farm Park. However, it's been so wet and cold lately, we thought to meet up at The Three Monkeys Cafe off Boundary Street.
It's a cool little place which was packed full of people when I arrived half an hour before anyone else. So, I grabbed a coffee and a piece of the most god-awful sweet cake I've ever tasted (which was at the most expensive I've ever come across at $7.95 a slice! OMG! Never again, I'll just grab a large latte next time!).
We talked and chatted and had a great 4 hours then went home. I caught one bus to Springwood and then a cab home as I had missed the 550 to Browns Plains. Once home, I made myself a pizza and settled in and watch a little television and went straight to bed by 10pm.
Writer, poet, artist and prolific reader.... that's me.
I'm a collector of books, vinyls, coin purses and strange handbags... that's me too.
Otherwise, I love...
And the last photo it the collage where it's got a light bulb isn't from the toilets inside the cafe. I took that one at the Fox Hotel down on Melbourne Street. I found it funny and thought it would make a great photo. :)
