For us inland dwellers the ocean calls to us. We must walk in it, talk to it, smell the sea air and feel the wind in our hair. Daily visits are a must but tomorrow there will be tears when we have to say goodbye.
Lovely. I grew up by the sea and am always drawn back to it, even though - perhaps especially because - I now live in a very inland place (for Britain, anyway!).
