I sit in the window looking out at the world around me and hope for things to change.
Not sure if I should post this, but it's how I'm feeling today, as a family member continues to struggle with a mental illness and I'm doing everything in my power to help out.
Such a difficult time for you and your family Nova!! Sending you big hugs and lots of positive vibes. We have been through similar in our family and finally there is light at the end of the tunnel - I hope you get the same results. xxx
Oh so sorry to hear this Nova................our family has gone through the same and it is so hard to watch someone go down this path!
I love your photo with the bright fall colours and the soft white curtains, nicely composed!
Hope everything works out, and you were right to post your picture, it's reflects your feelings, and gives us your friends a chance to send you a digital hug. It's a fine pic too, love the colors.
So sorry, Nova! I do love the photo. I've been told we should "tell stories" with our photos and this one surely does! It represents hope or at least a desire for it. True Hope can only come from God through Jesus. I pray that you and your family member know Him and trust that He loves you more than anything you are going through.
@mona65 Thanks M, I received both the prayers and vibes. :) @mittens Marilyn, thank you for your kind words, we are hopeful too. @jetr Joan I appreciate your positive thoughts. thanks @pcoulson Thank you Peter. @gardenfolk Thanks CC we are getting by day by day. @pamknowler I appreciate your kind words Pam and continue to keep focused on the end result. Thanks for the hug too. @radiogirl Thank you Kathy, I type this message and look up to my window with the beautiful bright colours outside and know there hope and things will change just like the leaves on my tree.
@jack4john Thanks John, I appreciate your digital hug, it so nice to know so many people are thinking about our family's situation. @thewatersphotos Thank you Gary, I would not have hesitate in saying if my family member broke a leg or was in an accident. Mental illness is usually not spoke of and things need to change. I appreciate your positive message. @onewing Thanks Babs, we are taking her to all the appointments and have a team of specialists to help us on this. @peterday Peter, thanks for reaching out and letting me know you are wishing or us the best outcome.
A bitterseet shot - the colors are even the same as the bittersweet flowers. Mental illness is so difficult, taking the person and family and friends on a roller coaster ride. Thoughts and prayers for you both.
