This week my girl completed 5 years of playing the fiddle and lessons. She was very proud of this achievement and has come a long long way since the early days. She has played at school concerts, in church and with her youth band ReGenesis. We are very proud of her and I made this cake to celebrate the occasion.
This is my first fiddle theme cake and every part is edible. I'm very happy how it turned out and just had to take that 'traditional style' shot to represent the day.

Thanks so much for your tasteful words. LOL. The cake was gobbled up by all that were here and we still have a couple of bits and pieces left for today. :) The strings were the first to go!
