Feed the birds

It was a great day for a walk in the park with my peeps and we had an opportunity to hand feed the birds. Which is always a thrill. :)

We can't feed our chickadees in our yard but when we go for our walk in the bush behind us these little guys are very friendly!

Fabulous capture, Nova! What a wonderful experience! We have an almost identical shot of our daughter from a day spent at Mendon Pond near Rochester, New York, years ago. It's easy to feed the chickadees and tufted titmice there, and I remember the thrill of it!

We had a great day as a family. We walked, fed the birds (while I took pictures), went out for supper and had some laughs.
