You can call me Pierre

You never know what you will come across while strolling the Historic Properties in Halifax. This larger than life wooden carved statue of Pierre E. Trudeau, who was the 15th Prime Minister of Canada. Now his son Justin is following in his foot steps as the 23rd. Sorry there were no statues of Justin.
Magnificent carving.

Interesting caricature, but I wouldn't want to live with the likes of that folk art! You mention historic properties, so is it with a home???

@onewing @bill_fe @pcoulson @peterlgrave @paulavdmerwe
Thanks for your kind words on my shot. As this carving is a full body and very tall, this was the only pov I could get. LOL.

@maggiemae I don't recall his teeth being so large, it's more about his flat nose. Thanks Maggiemae. :D

@Weezilou Hey Louise, it's actually stands outside a store in "Halifax's historic properties" shopping area downtown. I did not notice if he was for sale or just a door greeter. We were heading for supper and I did not have much time to get the shot. It's a great place to wonder around for photo ops. :)

Maybe, if you're not tired of seeing it, it would be a wonderful place to meet! (This folk art looks as though it needs a large scale place to display it!)
