@helenhall They are quite the entertainers. They imitate bird calls of other birds one after another. You may think you're listening to a cardinal and all of a sudden it sounds like a sparrow took over! Once you hear three or four different calls from the same bird you realize it's a Mocking Bird! They can also be heard chirping away at all hours of the day- even night. It's kind of pretty to hear them singing away in the dark.
