I've assigned myself daily themes for this month and Wednesdays because I've enjoyed seeing other 365ers doing this in their albums. Wednesdays are going to features some of my beloved knick-knacks and other sentimental doo-dads some a little more valuable than others like this Hummel figurine I bought in Canada somewhere around 1971.
Hummels are such beautiful figurines. Seeing this makes me remember mom’s Hummels. For whatever reason they were not in her apartment in the assisted living center when she moved there. Yours is lovely and sweet.
Thank you so much for all your views, comments and favs! A little research proved this to be that held its value over the years. The ones I saw for sale on ebay were underpriced! But collectors' sites seemed more reasonable. At this point I'm not selling it, but it's always good to know what something is worth.
@taffy If you don't have anyone in your family that would like them I'd look into selling them. Collectors will cherish them! I'm checking in with my nieces to see if they are something they'd like to inherit, otherwise I will give my sons permission to sell them when I'm gone.
( One of my sisters did have some collected.)
