I still have some garden things to put away, but the sun was beginning to set, and the cold air was moving in when I came home today, so they'll be around for a little while longer. This little decorative block came in handy for the square challenge. And its little proverb is not a bad motto to live by.

This cute little doo-dad was a mercy purchase. A friend was doing one of those catalog sales things and no one was buying (most of the stuff was a bit pricey). I felt so bad for her I searched through that booklet until I found one item under $20 and this was it! I've had it for at least 10 yrs. now. It's never faded or anything, so I guess it was worth it!
