The word alphabet is a combination of the first two letters of the Greek alphabet- alpha and beta. But few people know that those two letters were actually taken from the first two letters in the Hebrew alphabet- aleph and beit.
I actually did not know the Hebrew translation, Ann. Thanks for the info. I noticed that there are some A and B photos on tonight. Is there an alphabet challenge going on? Love your photo. It's a great B. :)
@karenann Thanks Karenann- yes, I posted it on the challenge board. The tag is Febalphabet. I haven't had a chance to check in and sees what's been posted but now that most of my work is done for the week, I'll be getting back on track with 365. @digitalrn Thanks Rick- I almost walked past it-but I saw it at the last moment.
@prttblues@summerfield@allie912 Thank you Bev, Vikki and Allison (especially for the A!). It's a close up of that playground I took a week or so ago- sunny one day and foggy the next.
@woot Wow- thanks Davide! This is part of the playground I took back in January. Thanks for the fav!!
@digitalrn Thanks Rick- I almost walked past it-but I saw it at the last moment.
