The Mull Over March word today is sport or basketball in honor of March Madness. I remember my high school students were totally engrossed in March madness when I taught. But basketball has never been the primary sport in the LeFevre household. That honor has always gone to football- futball and football. However, we do own a basketball! So it is making its 365 debut today. I'm sure you won't see one of these in the playoffs though!
@nadaa A friend of ours gave it to my AVID Big Blue fan a few years ago. Thanks Nada! @lfrans Thanks Liane! Afternoon light spilling in through the front window was just perfect for this. @vposey Thanks Vickie! Basketball is ok. But I'd rather watch soccer (futball). @mrssmith Thanks Carla! I think the madness is those brackets- not the game! hehehe @httpgeffed Thanks Colleen!
Thank you Nicole, Jennifer, and Dione! I was really aware of the great light coming in from my living room window yesterday and decided to take advantage of it for this shot. Thanks so much for your comments!
Wow, that's some cool basketball. Nice shot (that sounds like it goes with basketball, right?). We always had one when the boys were young, but not part of our household any more.
@cimes1 Thanks Carole! My older son did play briefly in 7th grade (maybe 8th too- but it wasn't very long). But it never really took hold here- soccer was always the sport that was played (by both boys in h.s.) and football was the one they watched with their dad.
@henrir Thanks Henri! I have learned you can pretty much find any common household object with your favorite team's logo on it!
