After several heavy downpours today, the sun decided to join us late in the afternoon. I went out to photograph the lily that just bloomed in my garden.
Thank you Judith, Kerri, Maggie, Taffy, Alia, Dione, Rick, Donald, Colleen, Henri, Vikki, and Terry. I'm do excited to have these blooms this year. In the past something has nibbled them before I've gotten the sprouts sprayed. But this year I was out there before the first shoot broke ground spraying!
@summerfield Vikki, it could be but I think it's actually one of those brown stamens in the reflection.
@mrssmith203 Thanks Carla! This was the same day as the "Animal of a Storm" shot. We had four really heavy downpours that day with a few huge puddles on the way home from church. But by late afternoon the sun had returned!
