Crazy Coneflower Seeds

After my coneflowers bloom and lose their petals, I save the centers as they are filled with seeds. These three are waiting to be planted back in the garden, so I had a little fun overexposing them and then playing with the color balance. Interesting result, but I'm not really crazy about it.

Cool shot. I like the abstract look of this. I leave the cone flowers on their stems, because the goldfinch and other birds eat these when they come through on their migration flight.

Thank you everyone! I couldn't seem to hold the camera steady yesterday so I wasn't happy with this as far as focus goes, but I do like the processing effects.
