I'm always captivated when I discover a new shadow falling across something in my home and this one was no exception. I'd never seen the way the afternoon sun elongated the door-knob making it look like a gavel some justice wielding judge might hammer upon his "bench" to bring order in the courtroom.
Great shot. This would have been a great photo to show the shadow and ask, "what is it?" No one would ever guess that the shadow was from the door knob.
@homeschoolmom Thanks Lisa! I'm sort of overdue for a "what is it?" kind of shot. You've given me an idea... @taffy Thanks Taffy! Played around a bit with them in processing but essentially the door is that sort of honey color (although it's not real wood just the plywood veneer kind).

Thank you Timothy, Yao, Dione, Rick, Carole, Henri and Kathryn! As you know, thanks to 365 I've fallen in love with shadows!
