Pretty Rose

I had taken this shot last week for texture and planned to convert it to black and white for the book club. But it just didn't look that good in black and white! So I saved it and put it up today. It's been snowing on and off today and any color looks pretty good right now!

@cimes1 It is a rose, but I did not make it. It was made by our neighbor's cousin in honor of his mom who loved roses. They were given out at her memorial. There were no two alike because Lillian was one of a kind!

@maggiemae That's a good question Maggie! As I do neither, I'm not sure but you may be right in thinking it is crocheted first and then twisted together like a braid.
