Jeff and I had a fantastic time today meeting up with Marc, Rick and Josie to explore the steel stacks in Bethlehem, PA. There was a never ending supply of subjects and Marc was an excellent tour guide. It's going to be fun to see what each one of us captured. As you can see Rick (on the left) and Marc (on the right), are focused in on something that caught their eye. But I wonder what Jeff is looking at!
Thank you Kerri, Nicole, Sally, Marc, and Allison!
Absolutely Marc!
No, it's not Allison, but it had me fooled at first too. The artists are listed as John Choi and Dennis Gardner as part of the Arts Quest Hot Glass studio, 2012. It is called the Four Elements and the way I "interpreted" it was the way the four elements were all used in the steel making process. The section you see here is the earth. This flows into a steel stack where steam is escaping from the sides and a fire is blasting out of the top. It reached up about 3 stories. Rick is at ground level here and I am shooting from the second story.
@digitalrn I had a couple inadvertent ones- or shall I say accidental- but this one was "on purpose" and actually it's a favorite from all the shots of you and Marc taking shots! @daisymiller Thank you Daisy!
I had such a great time today Rick and Marc! I hope you did too!
