Summer's Glory Forgotten by olivetreeann

Summer's Glory Forgotten

Another shot from our Shoot Out today. Seven of us braved the cold and were rewarded with some beautiful scenery and lots of photographic opportunities. Of course I was thinking ahead to the Flash of Red Challenge which begins tomorrow, so many of the pictures I took I had in mind to convert to black and white. This was one of them. Even though the original is also devoid of a lot of color, I really think the black and white features the wispy details of these faded beauties quite nicely.
Awesome shot

This is a lovely shot, Ann. It's amazing how one (okay - YOU) can make dead or dormant plants into a work of art.
