In two weeks our camera club will be having a table top workshop at our monthly meeting. Members really liked the oil and water set-up I did last year, but I hated all the prep work and felt the whole thing was rather precarious. I really didn't want to be in charge of it again, but.... So today I was poking around the internet to see if I could find an easier approach to the whole thing and found two sites which used a tall glass instead of the typical bowl and glass pane. It didn't work as well as I'd hoped, but I'm going to blame my lazy self for that as I didn't want to set up the tripod! The shot came out blurry and I didn't get the mix of oil and water right (they recommended putting some dish soap in but I think I put one drop too much). What to do? Play, play, play with post processing!!
