We May Get Some Color Yet

It was rainy and damp throughout the weekend. The trees which were still mostly green at the beginning may actually take on some color this week thanks to the water. This fellow stood out amongst the brown leaves from last year. But I couldn't tell you which tree it came from as so many are still green and lacking in traditional Fall colors.

same here, a token tree here and there, but otherwise everything is still green. i'm hoping it stays that way, as well as the mild temperatures. but with the rain, yes, maybe the colours would still happen! nice one, ann.

@summerfield Thanks Vikki- it was sort of a pinch hit shot. I'd taken a bunch of macros indoors the other day but it was nice out today, so I thought a garden stroll would produce some nice macro subjects. All very blah as the garden looks awful.

Thank you one and all! It looks like this leaf will be typical for the Fall here- some color and some brown. All the leaves which have changed so far are looking quite the same. So we'll see...
