You may have been wondering what the difference is between a shot that is a "natural black and white" as opposed to a shot which is converted to black and white. The top shot is "natural". The soccer ball key chain and the beaded necklace it's sitting in are both black and white without having to convert them. The bottom shot demonstrates what happens when you covert the color shot to black and white.
Thank you Maggie, Nicole, Dinah, Sally, Chris, Babs, Katy, Daisy, Sue, Kas, Ferry, and Kathy!
@grammyn Not really- when I sharpened it I used a pre-set that also brightened the contrast but only around the edges. I debated on putting just a sharpened image in, but decided to use the one posted in the main album for today so that if people wanted to look at it a little larger they could. The brightening did not make a huge difference. But as you can see just a simple black and white effect does!
