52 Week Challenge- Landscape and Foreground

I did not have a chance this week to get out and find a beautiful landscape for this week's 52 assignment. So instead I decided to document the sorry view I have of my neighbor's house now that they've cut down all the trees that used to surround it and give it some beauty. That stupid light goes on and off all day (it's on a motion sensor they never turn off) and the garage is their smoking room. What you can't see here is the ugly garbage cans and "No Trespassing" sign just to the left of the driveway.
Definitely need something to separate yourself from the neighbours.

Maybe time to replace the lopped trees with a fence.

I’m sorry you don’t have great neighbors. That makes life so much better. I had horrid ones and celebrated when they moved, but got really nice ones now.

@littleconnie Thanks Connie- there's not much we can do about it from our property (other than complain to the community management which this photo will be a part of!).

@onewing Thanks Babs! They cut everything down, so I don't think they'll be putting anything up. And our property is not conducive to a fence although I don't think the inside of a fence would be much better to look at out of your front window.

@kerristephens Thanks Kerri!

@pandorasecho Thanks Dixie! We had nice neighbors for so many years I think we were spoiled. You can always tell around here when someone has moved in from NY City or Long Island. The first thing they do is install these insanely bright lights. The next thing is to cut down trees. (Mind you they're probably the same ones who scream about all the horrible effects of global warming too. No one seems to care that trees help cool things down!). I'm so tired of it. If you don't like the dark and you can't stand leaves, why did you move here??!! Ok , let me get down off the soap box now. We've been documenting a few things and will complain about the infractions but we also don't want to rub them the wrong way either. I've heard of people who have made matters even worse when someone has complained about them. So we tread lightly!

Oh dear sorry to hear about your dilemma .Perhaps it is time for a net curtain or a trellis outside with a nice climber growing up it. Love your beautiful and colourful glassware.

How very frustrating. Perhaps a "good neighbor" fence?

A great: `` looking out the window`` shot.

@wendyfrost @randystreat @pyrrhula
Thank you Wendy, Kathy and Ferry! Not much we can do about it except let our community management know about it and hopefully they can get them to lower it or put softer bulbs in. We'll see...
