Minimal Landscape

I thought maybe this would work for the current minimal landscape challenge until I read the instructions- land, sea or city scape. Our camera club was out in the Cranberry Bog last Friday collecting more photos for our identification project. I happened to look up and saw one of my favorite subjects, so took a few shots of the moon as well. I was expecting my camera to put the tree in focus and not the moon, but to my surprise the moon was clear the tree was not, hence the "artsy" processing.
Well it may not qualify for that challenge but it is a superb image. The rich colors and of course the fabulous composition make it spectacular

I would say that sky scrape should be included, this is a great image and I am so drawn to the moon.

This is fabulous, the moon makes it so.

@grammyn @nicolecampbell

Thanks Katy and Nicole! I think this challenge operates like the technique challenge in that the host selects the topic. I took the picture before I knew about the challenge, so I'm not too disappointed that it doesn't match up.

Love the moon

Great scene, love the moon against that deep blue. The lush green is an added bonus!

I think I made the same mistake - taking a silhouetted tree for the challenge. Always good to see the moon though and nice to have it in focus.

This is a great capture of the daytime moon looks good with the tree.
