Portrait of a Statue

Another shot from that inter photo club competition. The shot I submitted was in color and had to be sooc. But this is how I envisioned doing the shot. The statue is at the entrance of a Boy Scout Camp near here. "He" is the artist's depiction of the dedicated Scout and what I found very interesting was that while I took his picture, it felt like I was photographing a real person.
It looks fabulous in black and white. Maybe post the colour version too to see the comparison.

It is a beautiful sculpture, so life-like. The black and white makes it ageless.

i like the way the light shines on the stature. Makes pronounced shapes of the statue's face, head and clothes.

@randystreat Thanks Kathy- It's actually the full size of a person- but I wanted to just do the head shot.
