WAY back in Spring before all the craziness set in, my friend Lois shared her technique on setting up and applying textures to a still life. This week I'm going to play around with the still life she constructed for us. Here's what it looked like without any fancy editing.
Thank you Barb, Ferry, Katy, Kathy, Harry, Diana, Jenn, Issi, Joyce, Babs and Wendy!
You should see the beautiful pictures Lois produces from her still life pieces. They look like Rembrandt or one of the Dutch Masters painted them. I could not do her technique justice but part of that is due to the fact that she uses a different kind of lens to capture her pictures than I do. But I will have fun playing with this in my own style and I'll have to show her what I did with it when I'm done.
