@grammyn LOL- noooooo!!! The house is built into the side of a hill and the street runs at level with the roof. I'm standing on the street. The ladder that you see in this picture is actually lying flat from the roof to the road. It has a plank on top of it so that the guys can walk from the road to the roof and back again. And no, I did not go on that ladder either!

Neat shot! I'm not surprised Micah loved it--I STILL remember when my dad let me help him with a roof repair. Glad to hear you did not go up on the ladder: my surgeon told me to avoid ladders after my knee replacement.
