Very late posting tonight because we have been out all day in Maitland with a friend.
We went to Maitland Art Gallery and then for lunch, followed by a wander around the main street, along the canal walk and checking out some of the shops, plus taking some photos too.
One of the exhibitions at the art gallery was works by Melbourne based street artist Liz Sonntag aka Tinky. You can usually find Tinky's minature works in back laneways of Melbourne, in small holes in a wall or on the smallest of ledges.
Some of her tiny artworks were scattered around Maitland Art Gallery and you had to search to find them. Some were in very obscure places and not easy to photograph, but here are three of her works.
Fun shots. One of the ladies in my camera club does similar photography. She always carries her miniature people in her handbag just in case there is a photo opportunity.
