Hippeastrum Leaf and Fly

I am posting early today because I will be out this afternoon.

Yesterday I had a very lazy day with just a little bit of gardening as the weather is still so mild at the beginning of winter.

While I was in the garden, I thought I would take some photos. I loved the patterns on this hippeastrum leaf as it is dying off for the winter. As I was taking the photo, I spotted this fly walking around the leaf.
