My sister Barbara waiting patiently for me to finish taking photos. Just a quick Iphone shot - I didn't dare take out my Canon 5D on our walk through the country park!! Not a good idea when out with a non-photographer!! It was a lovely shady path and Finlay was enjoying himself sniffing every leaf!!
Many thanks for your lovely comments and Favs on yesterday's shot - always so very much appreciated!!
You are so tolerant of non-photographers! Really, it is a testament to your caring spirit in the face of someone unreasonable (written with intent for humor!). When I don't take my camera, I always make sure Jim knows I've done HIM a favor! Feel like we can't let them start thinking that would be a reasonable request!
@taffy Barb laughed when I read this to her!! She is actually really good when I do have my big camera with me and often critiques my shots!! I just wish she would pick up her Canon and take some photos!!
@pamknowler I feel the same about Jim -- he has such a good eye and now just says, oh - you do it...sigh...it would be more fun to be on photo walks together and share how we viewed the world!
Love the light and shade in this, and the inclusion of two of your nearest and dearest. Hope your sister is doing well. I take my camera most places, although now and then, certain people get a little annoyed. But I can't really concentrate on my photography unless I'm alone.
Ha Ha I have laughed at a few of these comments. I see all sorts of photo opportunities when sitting as a passenger in the car with my other half driving, but strangely our car suddenly develops and inability to either stop or turn around :) Love the dappled light and shade in this shot.
Great shot, When Craig comes along he always puts me under pressure to 'move on' it drives me crazy, it's easier if he goes to play golf and I go out taking photos with likeminded souls. Good for Barbara for playing so fair and for Finlay for ensuring it is a slow walk!
Looks like a peaceful place to stroll in the shade. Always good to share sister time.
