Another fill in shot - please don't worry about commenting.

Following mating the pair remain in tandem and they may pass over a large area before the male finally selects an oviposition site. The male repeatedly swings the female downwards and the eggs that accumulate at the tip of her abdomen are washed or flicked off. the eggs are drought resistant and do not hatch until covered with water.
You can see from this shot the female has just dipped her body in the water. Not a very good shot - they were on the other side of the pond!!
