I met up with Rosie @rosiekind and Sarah @pixiemac today for a walk in Harold Country Park and a spot of lunch when we had finished our walk. As I arrived at our meeting place I couldn't believe my eyes as this heron was just standing at the edge of the lake right in front of me. He flew off and returned a few times while we were sitting there and started getting a bit aggressive with the swans.
So thrilled to get this shot as it is the closest I have ever been to a heron - magic!!
