A different viewpoint

Rather than looking down this shot is looking out and upwards. This shows the empty floors above the Macy's shop. I heard on the news yesterday that Macy's is trying to sell off these areas.

Rosie and I are sitting in the lounge at O'Hare drinking Sauvignon Blanc - lovely! In fact Rosie has just got me a coffee and a cookie - we know how to live! I thought I would add a couple more shots from yesterday.

Many thanks for all your great comments on my Chicago shots! I am so pleased I was able to share our wonderful trip with you!

The framing of this shot makes it look it was shot through a porthole. Interesting shot, quite a different view.

It sounds you had the most wonderful trip! A lovely shot, looking through a peephole.

A wonderful farewell to the city and one of its iconic buildings, before you fly home and tackle the remaining hundreds of photos to process on your computer! Can't wait to see them all.
