This was our plane waiting for us to board. An overnight flight with no inflight entertainment was pretty boring and neither Rosie or I could sleep! Jet lag here we come! Lol! It was lovely to come through customs and see my nephew Colin waiting for us. Home again now and I am looking forward to loading my photos onto my laptop and having a good look at what I took last week.
What a wonderful time we had! Chicago is a photographers paradise. Taffy of course made us so welcome and took us to the best places. Andie joined us and took us for light trails which I have always wanted to do. So many exciting days packed full of fun!
I will be working on and sharing some of my shots for the next few weeks I expect. I want to do another Chicago Photobook which will be a permanent memory to treasure!
Many thanks for all your wonderful supporting comments and favs always so very much appreciated!
Love the pov and dramatic clouds in the background. I am thinking that even though you booked through BA you got stuck on an American Airlines flight home (they have a partnership with BA). I try and avoid them if i can, or try and make sure I find a flight with one of their modernized planes. It is hard to imagine that planes from the US would be so behind with technology, but that is the US for you...so far advanced on one hand and so far behind in ways that are surprising! It was wonderful to meet you and Rosie again.
@jyokota it was a shame it was only one day Junko but I know how busy you are so we were both thrilled you could make it for that time! Have you bought the fisheye lens yet? So pleased I could let you have a play with mine! Lol!
Fabulous! We enjoyed seeing your Chicago photos (so far) and hearing about your trip! Glad you had a fun time and a safe return home again! I am sure Findley will give you the warmest of welcomes!!!
I always take my entertainment with me. I am a member of Kelby One and can download photography tutorials for offline viewing. I did this just last week for a much shorter trip, then I didn't have to rely on the airline entertainment system. Great POV on your photo.
@ukandie1 I so want to disagree with you, but can't! AA does have some pretty dismal aircraft. We're on one next week and hoping it is one of the decent one. Preparing by downloading a bunch of movies and TV shows!!
Welcome home -- and I can't wait to see your posts from the week here! Fun to see your plane...
I'm with you Pam, if the in-flight tech is out, what else may be dicey too. Good to hear you got home safely regardless, looking forward to seeing more of the photos. BTW, how long is that flight? We're so far away from much of the world I have no idea of northern hemisphere times.
