This is my first sighting of a blue jay since we have returned to Lunenberg. We can hear them calling to each other as they are very noisy birds. It was raining today and we heard the blue jays at the feeder and this is my first shot of a very wet and bedraggled bird!! I aim hoping for better before I leave.

Masterfully shot! The rain came down hard after sitting out back with morning coffee... The poor animals got the worst of it...I never saw such a bedraggled bird! And poor "Not Fred" looked much the same! We humans did the best we could, filling their food dishes to help fend off discomfort... I hear sunshine is forecast tomorrow,Pam!
@louannwarren I shall look forward in anticipation for a moose shot!! I think they are extinct and it's all tall tales about how many people were seeing in Newfoundland!! LOL!!
