I have bought a season ticket for parking at the local country parks as it cost £3 every time we go and an annual pass is £49. It covers 5 parks and today we visited one we hadn't been to before - Brixworth Country Park. What a lovely park which has different walks for you to follow each taking a different amount of time. The path we chose wound round through the woods and every now and then you had a wonderful view of Pitsford Reservoir. There were lots of benches and picnic tables - perfect for sitting and taking in the fabulous views.
