In May I uploaded a shot of the new leaves just showing themselves on my South American Bean Tree. A couple of the branches have grown so low that I keep walking into them and there was only one answer - chop them off!! I wanted to show you how large the leaves grow on this tree giving wonderful shade in the garden.
Of course George was interested and had to get in on the act. The largest leaf is bigger than George's head.
Many thanks for your great comments and favs on my succulents flowers - very much appreciated!!
From what we hear, you all need the shade over there at present.
We are both fine here Pam. Just struggling to achieve any enthusiasm for 365 at present. We have now rebooked our visit to the UK. We will be arriving on 17 Jul and then heading off to Il de Re (an island off the coast of France near La Rochelle) on 19 Jul with our daughter and family for a few days. We have hired a car and plan to leave the others in Il de Re and drive down to Millau in the south of France then up into Switzerland for a few days before driving back to Lille (or Calais) to catch the Eurostar back to London. Probably get back there early August. We will then do a few road trips in UK before leaving to come back to Oz very late Aug. Hope to catch up at some point.
