George seems to spend his life with his nose in a muddy hole which he has just dug!! He always looks scruffy and dirty!! I have in fact just given both boys a bath and George looks a lot cleaner than he does in this image. I have built a fence around the area he keeps digging so I am hoping he will not dig any holes today.
Last night at 11pm both dogs were barking in the garden and yes you guessed it a hedgehog was on the garden wall. Luckily for the hedgehog he was on the other side of the little fence so George couldn't actually reach him. I managed to get the dogs indoors and today have once again set the humane trap. Is it the original hedgehog who has found his way home? It was -7 degrees last week in the night - why oh why is he not hibernating?
Ha ha, I wondered how your hedgehog was doing! Clearly still causing trouble. Maybe its personal thermostat has decided it isn't really cold yet!? Nice to see George. And you!
I can imagine this wiggly bunch of whiteness would be difficult to wash! They don't like that clean smell so do their best to roll in anything that smells!
My brother brought his West Highland just like this with him today. Her name is Sky & she’s off on her holidays to Spain for the winter! Always slightly scruffy though, unlike George who looks groomed even if dirty!
Oh dear, seems to me we just saw him in a similar state. I hope you've invested in a doggie shampoo company! At least you can profit from his tendencies to get covered in mud.
