A beautiful sunny day but very cold which I really don't mind. I hate the dark overcast days of winter even if the temperature is a bit higher.
I thought the sun brought out the fabulous colour of the fir trees (are they larch?). As the squirrels danced across the branches there was a shower of pine needles falling all around us. It won't be long before all the trees are completely bare.
