Lark ascending by pattyblue

Lark ascending

This statue called Lark Ascending is in Rose Bank gardens in Malvern and was sculpted by Walenty Pytel.
There is another statue between this one and the buildings below of two buzzards which you can just make out by the same sculptor. The buzzards were commissioned for the queen's jubilee in 2012 and the Skylark was a more recent addition in 2017 funded by the proceeds from the Malvern Autumn show.
Just beyond the town are the Malvern hills which are very popular with walkers and buzzards and skylarks are often seen there.
Love this. Wish I had one to "help" me at night. I do have a bird sitting in front of my front door leaving a BIG white signature every morning. I tried everything..... Love birds but to wash hiss/her mess every morning is a different story.
