Umbrella Boat 2

This was the second shot I took of the poor unfortunate photographer, see yesterdays posting for the story behind the shot,

Peter, i think this is so much more expressive than the previous version.. one cannot help but feel sorry for this unfortunate man.. just looking at the amount of rain coming down is giving me a chill..

@jorlam Thanks Jorlam I was not sure about posting this one I may have been judged a little insensitive posting this one as he looked so dejected at the time, he was actually putting his hood over his head as the rain really started to belt it down I was hoping he was going to dive in and retrieve it, now that would have been a much better shot, lol:)

@pcoulson Tee-hee, that truly would have been 'a picture'.. i did realise he was attempting to put up the hood but it could also be interpreted as him holding his head whilst having a tantrum and a good old rant and rave..

Yep definitely looks frustrated - as long as the camera stayed dry then that's all that mattered.

If you had been any sort of gentleman you would have waded in and got it for him Peter !! lol He definitely looks stressed.

@dawnee Thank you Dawn for your comment, I spoke to him later and he said he had know idea how he would get it back, wading in was not an option, lol:)

@dide Thank you for your comments Dianne I think that was the problem so busy trying to take a shot and keep his camera dry he lost the plot and the umbrella made a bid for freedom:)

@peterlgrave Thank you for your interesting comment Peter, the rain was coming down in monsoon proportions we could not have got wetting, in saying that he went home as soon as he got his umbrella back and I stayed another 45 minutes, other than these two only got a couple good shots to use in the Camera club competition:)

I thinks @julzmaioro would like this image - a real photojournalism shot.

A great storytelling shot! Now I'm curious - did her get it back? If so, how?

@elkereturns Thank you for finding the time to comment its appreciated, fortunately the wind carried it to the other side of the lake and he managed to just pick it out whilst standing on the footpath other than from the rain he didn't have to get his feet wet, lol:)
