Super Full Moon

A super full moon occurs when the moons closest approach to the Earth coincides with the phase of full moon. Interestingly enough, the moon spins at about the same speed and direction as it orbits around the Earth which causes the same side to always be facing the Earth. It is the second brightest object in the sky after the Sun due to the moon's reflective properties.
