The Aktunchen Cenote is one of the most famous of the cenotes near Playa del Carmen and the caves leading to it have been named one of National Geographic's Top 10 Underground Walks in the world. There are thousands of formations of calcium carbonate, made by the slow seepage of water that took place through over 5 million years.

I remember going there a few years back! Stunning place. Did not really 'discover' photography then so my pictures of that time are pretty rubbish. Great shot!
